Iconic pendant lamp, designed in 1967 by Claus Bonderup & Torsten Thorup, manufactured by Fog & Morup in Denmark, 1960s/70s.
The precise quarter circle, mirrored around a vertical line, defines the shape of this minimalist pendant lamp. The smooth transition from the metal shade to the textile-covered power cord flows beautifully.
This iconic piece of Danish modernism is made of chrome-plated metal with a white lacquered interior. The shape of the pendant lamp emits a bright, wide light, making it perfect for the dining table, but it can also be used as an eye-catcher to aesthetically illuminate other living areas.
The pendant light is in excellent condition with only two subtle scratches on the interior and minimal signs of wear. The dark brown textile-covered cable is the original cable; the light is functional, but the electrical system no longer complies with applicable VDE guidelines; the cable may need to be replaced.
It has an E27 socket, which is suitable for all standard LED bulbs.
