For once, a treasure from the 19th century:
Large, rare earrings made of gold-plated silver with several set turquoises. The earrings are very finely crafted, light as a feather and some of the individual elements have a delicate pattern. They are not hallmarked, but have been tested for silver. The earrings date back stylistically to the first third of the 19th century, the so-called Georgian period (1714 -1837 / four Georges in succession under the British crown). They have a clip closure.
The gold shows only very slight abrasion in a few places. Despite their age, the gold-plated earrings sparkle with the shine they were originally intended to. They have been carefully and professionally cleaned and come in a simple black jewelry case.
Dimensions Length approx. 7 cm Width approx. 3 cm
