Handmade crackle glass vase made by Karcag, Hungary, 1950s.
The so-called veil glass technique was an invention of the glassmakers at the Karcag factory in Hungary and is characterized by the finest glass breaks that are deliberately provoked during the manufacturing process, which reflect the light in a wonderful way. The vase shimmers in blue-green tones, sea colors, with a hint of yellow towards the neck of the bottle. It has no damage whatsoever, only minimal signs of use.
