Description

This exceptionally large glass floor vase is an impressive example of post-war Scandinavian glass art. The piece is attributed to Gullaskruf Glasbruk (Sweden) and dates from the 1960s.

Standing approximately 92 cm tall, this vase is one of the rare large-format works often designed for architectural and reception spaces. Its elegant, serene silhouette with a long neck and the smoky, petrol-colored glass give the object a strong, sculptural presence.

The vase is unsigned – this is quite common for Gullaskruf pieces of this size. Attribution is based on form, color, and glass quality.

An extraordinary statement piece for spacious living areas, galleries or collections of Scandinavian design classics.
